Gail Berry Emotional Therapist Emotional Healing

You don’t have to navigate what you’re going through alone.

I’m glad you’re here. Welcome.

There are times in our lives when fear, sadness, anger, grief, trauma or overwhelm can become too much to carry alone.

We may know that something isn’t right, but struggle to understand what is happening within us—or why we keep finding ourselves in the same painful patterns.

Sometimes, what we need most is not to be fixed.

We need to be heard.

We need to be understood.

We need to be witnessed.

I believe that understanding requires us to stand next to someone, not opposite them.

My work is about creating a compassionate, safe space where you can bring what is difficult, without judgement or invalidation. Together, we can begin to understand the emotional origins of what you are experiencing, the patterns you have developed and the ways your past may still be influencing your present.

Because our experiences matter.

And no matter how gifted, capable or strong we may be, if we have been told often enough that we are not enough, we can eventually begin to believe it.

A different kind of support

I also believe that support should not necessarily begin and end when the consultation does.

Life can give us difficult moments in between appointments.

Sometimes the difficult moment comes afterwards—a conversation, a memory, a trigger, a relationship or simply a day when everything feels too much.

That is why I offer ongoing support between consultations through messages, voice notes and calls when needed. I also share articles, resources and questions that can help you make sense of the situations you are struggling with.

I believe people are worth going the extra mile for. Always.

My approach is relational and collaborative. I don’t stand opposite you with all the answers. I stand alongside you, helping you understand yourself with greater compassion.

By the Grace of God, that is what I try to offer every person I work with.

I came to this work not only through many years of professional experience in emotional wellbeing, trauma and interpersonal relationships, but also through having to learn how to navigate my own emotional difficulties.

So I understand that feeling of being lost within yourself.

And I understand how powerful it can be when someone finally says:

“I hear you.

I understand why this hurts.

You don’t have to carry it alone.”

If that is what you have been looking for, you are very welcome here.

Let’s begin where you are.
